Hey folks: I'm very new to the world of the blues harp (maybe 6 months), but during that time kinda fell into the trap of the harp mic and building them. I'm no where near ready to start amplifying what I play, but thought that it would make a pretty cool hobby as I love to dabble in simple electronics, am already proficient in the painting game (I make my living owning a furniture refinishing business), and even have a good eye for art and design (that's an occupational hazard).

So I would just like to make the blues harp world aware of the fact that I would like to continue building these little gems but at the same time sell them off so that the hobby will self-perpetuate. Who knows where it could go, as at some time I do plan to retire from my business and will need a pass time.

Anyway, I asked Adam if I could post this info. and the link to my little site and he said yes. So, here it is. If anyone of you has any comments or criticisms, constructive or otherwise, I welcome it.

Actually I'm coming along just fine - slow, but fine. I have the help of a local blues harp recording artist (featured on my Videos Page). Check him out. He's actually the only Canadian blues artist to have a Muddy Award! BTW, I have a furniture refinishing shop, not a cabinet shop. As from "where am I from?", Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Thanks for the welcome! The link, however, did not make it into your post.
