Hi:
I was trying to gain more insight about blues harp and I discovered Charlie Musselwhite. He is a great player and I like the country edge I felt in his work but I wanted to know more about country-blues harp players. Can you please name them for me.
Thanks

Charlie McCoy, Sonny Terry, Deford Baily, Forrest City Joe, Johnny Woods, Earl Taylor, Joe Filisko and Howard Levy both kick ass when they play country style but definitely wouldn't classify them in only one category/ style of playing...they are masters, Lee Sankey's got some good country stuff too on youtube. I know I left out a bunch but these are the only ones that I'm aware of

I heard R&B by Roy Rogers & Norton Buffalo. WOWWW they are great. I read that Norton Buffalo passed several weeks ago. I'm really sorry, I wish I could go to his concert. I saw one of his performances on youtube and I really loved it. He may rest in peace.

Mickey Raphael has a unique country-esque style with Willie.
Clint Black does a creditable job, too.
