Heading to San Diego next month and was hoping to sit in at a jam. Also saw that Rod Piazza is playing while I'm there, which is a rare opportunity for me (in Boston). Any advice on where to go? I found the Good Blues Update site, which has a lot of listings, but I have no way of judging what is the most fun place to go, convenient to downtown (I'll be at the convention center). Any SD folks out there care to comment?
