Lots of octaves in that right? Or is that the effects (they tend to throw me off)?

Effects used. It's two octaves apart. I liked that effect much better in his Moose Blues.

My theme song! Now THAT was cool.
(But let me tell you...they get a LOT bigger than that!)

Bluemoose.

Yeah, he's using an electroharmonix POG or HOG (see this vid where I play through Buddah's HOG)

Personally, in the first vid, I would have preferred he play that first part, pick some choice riffs from that first solo part to use as a climax, use some of those tongue-ssplit octave riffs for a bridge, then close back down with some more of the opening riff. The space groove stuff he did in the middle there was distracting and I didn't really like it. I LOVE the main groove, and some of the less "complexicated" hi "solo" riffs he was doing. He took it a bit too far though...

The "moose blues" song was more of an actual composed song, so I liked that better, but the riff from the first was cooler. I wouldn't really call either of them a "blues" though. It's more rock/pop. In that context, I think they are really cool innovative songs. He needs a band to back him though. That sound would be great with a rock trio behind him (drums, bass, and guitar) Jason Ricci style...

"...He needs a band to back him though...."

Try this one. (One of my very favorites by him.)
