528hemi,
I have 2 mics from Rharley. The Silver Bullet and a Sonny Boy Blue. Love both mics, especially the Silver Bullet, its the right size for me for good and comfortable cupping. Very good price. His service are great, and he is a very nice guy.

You can find some of his video of his mics here :

Hope this helps

I put a lot of time an energy into all my builds,..I don't just buy mics off ebay an turn them over for a high dollar,..every one of my builds are built as if it were my own,.
I've developed my own gaskets for Shure CM-CR's ,.dynamic,.crystal & ceramic elements that are super tight so 100% of what you blow into a SUKM Mic element is comin outta the amp,..

MY Rharley's Original Silver Bullet is a True Kustom Built Harp Mic,..

I can take a Low Z CM Shure element Hotrod it to High Z with My Super Boost Mod an make er sound like a Shure Black Label element so I'm told by Russ (oxharp)on Youtube whom I built a Bluesblaster called Louisiana Smoke ,.(I name all my builds,..a throw back to my Hotrod days back in the 1960-70's when all Hotrod were given names)

Here is the letter Russ sent after he received Louisiana Smoke :
I think the mic (L- Smoke) is a kick ass mic and pound for pound Dollar for Dollar I dont think you can get a better one out there.
I have not had a chance to catch up with my mates to show off the mic but will soon I hope.

I think that the mic compares really well with the 2 black label CR.s that I have.

It is better than one with a lower out put.

I compared it with my best CR and although the output of my CR was better than yours I could get almost the same dirt/ grit by turning up my amp abit.

As the CRs cost 3 times as much as yours I am very pleased with the results.

I will try and get a review on tyou tube for you as soon as I get my camera fixed in th shop but it may be terminal.
Speak soon
Regards
Russ

I sell my mics on Ebay and off myspace site ,.My Ebay feedback is 100% as is myspace site,..

Hope to hear from ya
Thanks

Hi guys,
I would like to further endorse the SUKM products.
Ron is a great guy to speak to and will explain any questions you may have about mics in general and give you a straight no BS answer. I had loads of questions to ask about mics in general CM over CR and crystals Volume controls over on off switches etc. We exchanged e-mails for quite a while before I bought the mic and that should tell you guys what he is all about.

I still have the Louisiana Smoke and I always seem to be picking up that mic as a first choice mic when I am playing at home.

The vid I put up is a horrible representation of the mic and I should do another one to show off the mic compared to my others.

I would like to wish Ron a very merry xmas and keep doin what you are doin in the new year.

"Anyone have an opinion on his work/mics? "

just picked up an EV641 customized by him. fantastic work on the mic. the paint job is amazing looks like a brand new mic. the grill is even clean. it was chopped an had a colume control put where the on/off switch would be. plus it sounds great. the switchcraft connector is spring loaded where most mics have just some solder. very high quality work.
