my 1st loop i programed with the free acid express software,I added some cheasy harp and played a loose bass guitar behind the bass loop.and improv some vocals just bored.I might not have as much the talent of some of these begginers on here,but im having as much fun.Women,beer, harmonicas,Harp on fellow harpsters.
Good stuff Hobo. The boundaries for playing harp are being pushed further outfield with the introduction of all these new tools. The sky's the limit. I'm pleased we (the Harp Forum Community) are interested in new approaches and techniques, after all, it is a Modern Blues Forum and we've got to move with the times. ----------
thanks tookatooka I seen awhile back you mentioned loops i had allready done this so i thought i would post it.I used the free acid express program offered on acid plant where people post there music.They give free 8 packs loops to work with and program each week,I been saving 8 packs for a year now just firgured out how to open them up there zipped and im not the best with computers.I have cakewalk music creator but the free acid program is easier to work loops with.its kinda cheesy but was fun. music with loops is harder than i thought.You have to firgure what to layer and changes and stuff but it kinda fun,Ive done a couple of bettter hip hop songs with loops but i didnt program the loops so i havent posted them.
thanks David yea the picks were of my ex girlfriends lol i wish.This was something i just threw together messing around not much to it.I really like what you been posting on our school forum.Ive been working hard on Planxty Irwin from the tunes section of the classes,i would like to post something like that here in a bit.But as you well know there aint no room for mistakes on those type of tunes and i make alot of mistakes.
Thanks fishbone,I appreciate the responce its hard to get anybody to say anything on here sometimes.Ill take any advise i can get but sometimes its hard to get a responce,i dont know if thats good or bad.This song i was just messing around with nothing serious as you can tell by the harp on it.but if you like boring songs all mistakes included i recorder and posted 75 or so this year on acidplanet.com under hobostubs Ashlock i have a lot of free time right now.
