I would like to attend one of the Jam Camps this year in Clarksdale. I'm just looking for some feedback from folks who have attended. Stories ARE GOOD !!!

I had been considering this as well but it's up against SPAH '10 which I think is a strong contender. Guess it depends which one I find someone to ride up with or share a room with :) . (Oh, that and if I can find another job since I'm supposedly being permanently laid off early next year.)

Do it! I went to one (not in Clarksdale) a year ago- I certainly got a lot out of it- I wish I had been a bit better a player when I attended, as I think I could've gotten much more.

Great opportunity to get 1 on 1 instruction from some very good teachers, Adam included. I think the highlight for me was being introduced to Jimi Lee and his music- he is just a monster harp player/singer/songwriter. I was just listening to a recording of the "instructor jam" they did late one night- they were all amazing.

Also, it was my first experience playing with a real band- that was pretty cool.

Great experience for me- I'd do another one someday.
