hello, havn't played one for a while, but was planning on using a blues harp for voodoo chile, at a small acoustic gig i`ve got lined up. my question is...
if voodoo chile is in the key of G on a standard E tuned guitar, and we`re gonna down tune the guitars to C (4 semitones down, that puts the song in the key of D#. i think? which key harp do i need to play along with the D#? is it G#? or have i got it all wrong? cheers.

For second position playing, choose the 4th of the scale of the key. So D# would be played in G#. For Hendrix tunes you only need to tune down a half step.

Ab harp in second position. (Same as G#, but there isn't a G# harp) ---------- Kinda hot in these rhinos!
