I used to see Big Walter Horton do that once in a while. I know of a former European harmonica champion na,ed Chris Turner who had a recording about 20 years ago where he did this really unusual chord voicing and it sounded like he had overdubbed himself to get it, but the recording engineer, who I knew well, was also a pretty decent harp player himself, told me that he played the lower part of the chord on a draw breath with his mouth and the top part as blow notes thru his nose. Trust me, I thought he was seriously pulling my chain, but then one day, I saw Chris and somebody asked him to show how he did it, and guess what, just like my recording engineer friend told me, he did exactly what he described, and my jaw hit the ground, totally amazed, and I said to myself, "Damn!!! this fool's gotta be double jointed in the skull!" This is NO lie!!! ---------- Sincerely, Barbeque Bob Maglinte Boston, MA http://www.barbequebob.com CD available at http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/bbmaglinte

Then, of course, there was Harmonica Frank Floyd, who played one harp through his nose and the other without a brace, AND sang and played guitar at the same time.
