I think the many post on this subject makes it evident that it is a trial and error personal thing. I never liked the Basic Hohner (Dylan Style), Rack for 2 reasons. It was always more difficult for me to get the harps in and out of the Spring holders as quickly and efficiently as I would like. The main reason was tho, that no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get the wing nuts tight enough to keep from pushing the harp away from me, especially when forcefully playing. So I took three racks and modified to make one. This is the same setup that Jimi Lee used at the time. It did have the knobs off the K & M holder. Maybe I'm just not proficient at it, but it still pushed away, and still was harder to switch out harps. I said all that to say all this: I love the Farmer (Seydel) Gecko Rack. I do not have the Arch Top. I have the full Rack. It micro-sets and locks into the correction position every time. No pushing away, no readjusting. The magnetic holder makes it easy to adjust angle and easily switch harps. I cannot comment on the Arch Top, but do know people who love them. I'm afraid they may not take as an aggressive style is all, and they don't seem to fit some of the Custom Mounting Mics like the Full Racks do. Not a complaint, but my only hang-up is the Full Gecko Rack isn't to tall, its to short. I'm only 5'10" and I have my chin in my chest to play it acoustically. The Rackit Custom Mic and Gerry Hundt's Bullet Custom Mics that fir the Gecko, give it a little more height to help, but acoustically I wish the Rack was a little taller or they offered that option. So what fit's one, may not fit another. Yes the Farmers Rack is about $70.00 but I feel well enough worth it that I own 3!!!! As the commercial says: You can Set It and Forget It. Love that Rack. Highly recommend it!!! ---------- And I Thank You !! KC Bluz Givin the devil the Bluz
