Anyone tried using one of these suckers for amplification?

HoneyTone amp.

If so, care to give any feedback (excuse the pun)?

My son has one for guitar and it totally rocks that way. I've wondered about it for harp, but have no true need for it.

Got it and love it! Very good tone for such a small amp, very light and portable. It's even quite loud, I take it for practicing with band. This is how it sounds:

I have one. It was my first amp! It's fun to play around with but I have terrible feedback problems when I turn the gain up and use a bullet mic. Not surprising. Probably great for busking. I've also used it at a coffee house "acoustic" gig, and was surprised at the clean volume I could get out of it. It was under my chair.

Thanks folks. That feedback (I mean actual feedback, as in the video) is a bad omen, but I might just get one of these for the hell of it. $20 less to spend on beer, etc. In any case, I don't have an amp fund at the moment, so anything better than a HoneyTone bread box is beyond my means.

I'll post a review at The Harp Surgery if I do get one.

The feedback was a problem in my video, because I was sitting about 2 feet from the amp. I don't ever use the GAIN knob, all the overdrive comes from the mic and cranking the volume. When you're distanced from an amp the feedback isn't such a big issue.

I have one of these and I love it. It fits perfectly in my harp case.
