Not food, unless you're into liquid nourishment, but: Liquor Beer and Wine by Reverend Horton Heat always makes me smile. ---------- ~Todd L. Greene, Devout Pedestrian
"listen to what you like for inspiration, but find your own voice"
Most of the good ones have been mentioned already, but I've been diggin' on "Mary's Kitchen" by Old Crow Medicine Show. And, of course, 'cause I'm a harpgeek like the rest of us here, "Diggin' my Potato."
Chitlins con Carne! SRV covered this Kenny Burrell tune, as well as Juinor Wells. ---------- ~Todd L. Greene crescentcityharmonicaclub@gmail.com

I also like 'Big Rock Candy Mountain'. Sarah Mclachlan's 'Ice Cream' is particularly sultry. My band has a song about begging for change a loaf of day old bread. I've also got a weird tune about looking for a quarter. I never mention it in the lyrics, but it was inspired by a frantic search for change for a candy vending machine.
It's from the point of view of a zombie, but they are talking about eating your brains, and I'm sure zombies have the blues.

"Thai Noodles" by Col. Claypool's Bucket of Bernie Brains. It's not ALL about food, but it's about a guy named Slick who "Loves his Thai noodles, he loves his Thai noodles."
"A Little Something Refreshing" by No Doubt from the album 'No Doubt' (1990). It's just a fun, intentionally comical song about junk food, recorded back in the days before No Doubt were mega-stars and had quite the sense of humor about them!
"D's Diner" by Les Claypool's Fearless Flying Frog Brigade.
