HI...this audio is from an open mike I played at a couple of months ago. Since then I have started to use a Blues JR, micked to the PA. It gives me a little more punch.

I have not had very good luck posting videos here..so here is another link.

Hey I like it, not just the harp, but the whole band. Seems like slow blues is not as easy to perform as some quicker paced stuff.
Sounds great, well done.

It's a real fun open mike with a lot of very good musicians showin' up. I just kind try and fit in....I was very nervous at first...didn't know anyone. But they are a pretty open group and after a while 80 % of the nervousness disappeared.

Thanks guys !!

Great, your getting out there and mixing it up with the others.
I have had a blast playing open mic's in the past. I admit I was afraid at 1st but hey what they gona do to ya, eat you HA! I think it's one of the best ways to get better at playing off the cuff. You never know what they are going to play and expect you to fall in with them.
We have a local bar called Brewsky's that does open mic. blues jam's on Sunday night's from 6:00pm to 10:00pm. Iv'e made a lot of new friends there that like to play the blues. They just got this web site up. If your ever in SouthEast Texas "Bridge City" come on and join the fun

Keep at it,

Pharpo, very nice! I'm from B'ville and would love to come watch if this is an open mic somewhere around Syracuse. There's a "Mill" right here in the village but I'm not sure if its the one you jam at. Your post on native americans must have you from somewhere here in CNY? Anyway, good playing!

Pharpo- One of the worst nights of my life was spent stranded at the Syracuse bus station on the way back from Cortland to Albany.

I've had to clean my car off twice tonight. Please stop sending snow!

:)

Oh, and that sounded great.
