I have this rare little mic up for sale. I got it about 6 years or so ago from a guy I bought a pretty large lot of music equipment from. I thought it was a neat looking little mic, so I just had it sitting on a shelf in my studio. I happened to just pick it up today, and do a little search on it, and it has a decent value to it.....so I thought id try to sell it. Im not sure of the hook up on it, so I have never used it. The end looks like it would be for a 1/4" jack, but its a different type than a regular monitor or guitar style plug. It looks to be in real good condition, and well taken care of, prior to me owning it. The sticker on it shows little wear in the ink even.
Anyway, just wanted to find a place to post this, so maybe this little mic will get in the hands of someone that will actually get some use out of it. I started the bid at $15.00. If anyone has any questions, just ask away, and I will do my best to answer!
Thanks for looking.

I see some people have checked it out, and a few have asked question about it on Ebay. Not sure if any of the questions were from you guys or not, but if you have any other questions on this Shure slim, Its still at $15, and time is ticking down!!

being that its a crystal mic theres a good chance that its dead. but for $15 it would make a nice decoration on a shelf. ----------

Any clue on what type of cable is used to test it out? It has a 1/4" jack, but not the same as a PA or Guitar.

I looked at the pic and more than likely it has a 5/8" amphenol screw on connector. All the one's I've ever seen have them. In the pic it looks like a screw on connector from a cable that is on it. You need one of the screw on adaptors to use a guitar cord with it. Thats just my opinion from what I can see in the pic. Crystal elements are delicate. May work or may not. Heat, cold ,moisture and being dropped all affect these elements. Could work when shipped and not worked when received. Ya take your chances with old crystal elements.

If you unscrew the connector, and it's a 4-pin, I have a cable that fits. if you're in BR, I'm in N.O.-not far away, and I'll test it! ---------- ~Todd L. Greene crescentcityharmonicaclub@gmail.com

I had 2 of these awhile back. Low impedance, really low volume, too tiny to use for anything much. Hope yours is better.

Just checking in! Jon, thanks for the purchase! Sorry the shipping took a few days. I sent it out 3 days after payment, and I guess snail mail took its time. Im glad you got it, and also hope you enjoy it. I was wondering if you had a chance to try it out and see if it works. Thanks again!
