Should I be using an impedence matching transformer thing a ma bob with my Electrovoice RE10?
Would it be useful to boost the output of a low output mic as well?

Scottb-Yessir, assuming you're going into an amp, you'll need a low-z to hi-z transformer. It's a low-z mic. And as far as boosting output, only if the mic in question is low-z going into a hi-z connection would that be the case. ---------- ~Todd L. Greene crescentcityharmonicaclub@gmail.com

Above is a link at musicians friend to the transformer I have been using for the past 3 years with no issues, it's well made. Guitar center has them also. Mike

Shredder, that is the impedance matching transformer I use whenever I play through a low impedance mic. Very good prouduct, and I see the price has come down a bit.

@ Rick, I was going thru some of the pic's on your bands web site. Your band was playing at a festivel, in the picture you were playing thru a wireless mic set up. What brand were you using? I'm really wanting to get loose from the mic cable and roam around the stage. Mike
