Hi everyone. I am brand new to the forum and have been playing harmonica for less than 10 months.
I have played guitar for 30 years though, so I have a good ear and play harmonica because I love the soul of it and it is challenging to play really well.
Can anyone please tell me / tab me, this beautiful run that Adam does.....
at 3.30 - 3.40...on

(or search... Satan and Adam "Ain't Nobody" (mid 1990's))
Thank you, I look forward to having many great tips and chats here. Woody Woody

Hi Woody,
I haven't the time at the moment. But on a quick listen, it seems to start on 2< 1< 2< 2''< etc.
I'd suggest purchasing the Amazing Slowdowner, which is quite reasonably priced. I use that and a plugin I bought for Firefox that will convert YT vids to MP3s. I then play them back in chuncks in the A.S. to work out what's going on. That piece of software is invaluable for tabbing.
I hope this helps. ---------- YouTube SlimHarpMick a.k.a. HarmonicaMick

Hi Woody,
I second Mickil's point about software for tabbing. However, I'd also like to recommend the poor man's option: Audacity. To date it can't be used as a browswer plugin, but it's free and if you know how to use it, it does the job pretty durn well.

Elwood- There is also a plug-in for Media Player called Muse-On that detects keys of MP-3's as well as the chords playing. It's free, of course you have to find another piece of software to get clips into MP-3 format, or buy the song.

I would second a vote for audacity - I use it all the time to slow stuff down, change keys, loop stuff. And it's free!!!! My favourite thing. ---------- If it ain't got harp - it ain't really blues!!!!

As everbody seems to be too chicken... here we go:
+4 +3 +4 -3 -2 -3 -2 -2'' -1 -1' -1 -2'' (two times)
-4' -4 -5 -4 -5 +5 +4 +5 -4 -3 -4 +4 +3 +4 -3 -2 -3
and then he goes over to normal improvisation.
It's basically all triplets. Especially the first part is rather common and one of the very few riffs where I've seen the three blow used instead of the two draw.

I've forgot to mention that it's played on an A harp.
Last but not least: Nice to have with us and don't forget to have a look at the how-to page to sign in etc. ---------- germanharpist on YT. =;-)

I feel like a div. Why did my ears tell me it started on 2 draw? Don't answer that. ---------- YouTube SlimHarpMick a.k.a. HarmonicaMick

Excuses, tooka, excuses... :)
During the acoustic solo Adam looks as if his future wife was amongst the crowd... lol (he definitely got laid that night). And darn, check out MrSatans groove change at the end. Just as seemless as it is radical. A genius at work.
