Hello Everyone :)

My name is Michael Fraticelli - I'm a 62 year old musician, recording tech., and independent WWII filmmaker working on a film about North Africa 1942-43. Took a break from my Band of 20 years, to conducted quite a bit of research, been at this for over 4 years.

Aside from interviewing more than 30 veterans in this story, I've also staged several recreations.

Currently working on one regarding German propagandist Axis Sally. I'm very handy, built an entire sound studio, and I'm about to tackle a reproduction of a Telefunken Cmv3-4 which was used extensively by the Germans. These Mics run a cool $4,000-$6,000

The Mic Head closely resembles that of an Astatic-T3, or even a JT30. Using 2 1/2" or 3" PVC (with some fittings), to make the tubular shape, and will make the base out of wood. Is there anyone can like help me with this noble venture?

Perhaps you can tell me where I might pick up two working or non-working, Astatic-T3's or JT30's? Check the photos below and you'll see that the Telefunken Mic Head screen closely resembles the T3 whereas the JT30 closely resembles the original Bullet shape.
