People sometimes ask me why the harmonica has the specific notes that it does (diatonic) I give them the answer I've heard before which is that it was designed that way to play traditional German music.
What I'd like to be able to do is actually play a little bit of that "traditional german music"
So, if any one knows a tab or even an audio link please let me know.
GH- I know, but it's the only Oom-Pah-Pah song I know, and in my defense, I think Adam posted it once to give a general sense of the Oom-Pah-Pah style. :)
It's strange, even although we were just taught to sing them, I can play just about anything we were taught to sing in elementary and middle school.
edit- I'd never really listened to a accordion for the low notes. They have some pretty good depth.

AW: I was given a Trumpet Call as a present. If anyone asks me to play an oompah tune on it, (in their defense, it does look as if you're meant to play them on it :) I play this one:

GH: Thanks for posting those, I've been playing a few of the YouTubes from that list, now. I'll try and learn another German tune for my Trumpet Call
TT: There are two kinds of kitchen in the background of YouTubes. Those that look like showroom kitchens...
...and those that look like the one in our house.
