So I finally got a band together, and we have two scheduled PAYING gigs at this bar with the prospect of playing there once a week! Also, I just talked to Joe Filisko and he is going take me on as a student! Thats the first real face to face teacher/pupil experience I will have had yet. I am so psyched for next monday when I meet with him that I'm afraid this week is going to take 5 years haha. I am really hoping that my playing is gonna soar to new heights with all this going on. I don't mean to come off as boasting or like "look at me! look at me!" (I am after all grossly proud of how humble I really am...ehm) Its just that I was so happy after finding all this out I was LITERALLY dancing around like a fool and had to tell someone haha. No one but people here would even come close to understanding how ecstatic I really am. Definately not going to bed tonight, it feels as though my stomach is a bee hive and I'm pretty sure a blind man could read my skin right now.

That sounds great man! Best of luck with these new endeavors.
Try to share some video/audio of the gigs with us.

yea that would be cool to have a good in real life teacher,I dont think there any around the tulsa area that i know of.Or is there?
