A buddy recently re-introduced me to this band. I listened to them when I was a kid because they were on the radio. He gave me a CD called "in rainbows." Has some spectacular stuff on it, I was amazed at the change in their sound.
I've gotta say that Radiohead are one of my all time faves ( along with the stone roses and early verve ) I've loved them since I was a student and listened to their 1st album 'Pablo Honey' I have seen them about 10 times including Glastonbury 94 which was amazing as they played most of the songs from their 'the Bends' album. J Greenwood is an amazing guitarist. The last time I saw them was about 5 years ago at Earls court. If you get the chance to see them live then it is a must. They will send shivers down your spine
Yeah, one of the reasons I fell in love with my wife was because she loved Radiohead so much... Of all the 100's of shows I've seen, Radiohead at the Shoreline was one of the absolute best shows I've ever seen. even more amazing was that it was in a big amphitheater, and usually I find that such big shows just don't compare to ones in more intimate venues. The other most amazing show I've ever seen was Rob Dickinson (lead singer from the Catherine Wheel) playing a solo gig in a small club to only devote Catherine Wheel fans. Just with his voice and his amazing guitar playing, he was able to recreate a full band experience. It was amazing. Some of those 90's shoe-gazers produced what I feel was some of the best music of the century. ---------- ------------------ The magnificent YouTube channel of the internet user known as "isaacullah"
