It's definitely not Sugar Blue or Paul Delay. Mark Ford is a better guess; I've only heard Harper once, but on the basis of that, I wouldn't rule him out either.
The playing isn't bad, and obviously there's a lot of energy and technique here, but what I don't like is that the triplets don't quite work at that fast tempo. If you think I'm being overly picky, slow down the track. You'll hear all the mistakes. I haven't slowed it down; I can hear the mistakes, or feel them, at this tempo.
Not bad, though. The repetitions work well to make it a coherent piece.
I'm bad at identifying fast players. To me they all sound the same. Popper, Sugar Blue etc. I find myself comparing harp styles to bikes. Popper, Blue ect sound to me like japanese bikes. High reving, to me annoying. Wilson, Piazza, Sagado sound to me like a big V "Twin", like a Ducati or Harley, thumping, soul stirring. The more I learn about harmonica the more I like the "less is more", and focusing on tone approach. Just my opinion.
