You better believe that if Mark Hummel is interested in trying one of our pedals that he gets it for free. He's Mark Hummel. There was no coercion and Lone Wolf didn't even reach out/initiate the process; he simply spoke with Jason and expressed an interest in checking it out. ---------- --Nathan Heck General Manager, Lone Wolf Blues Co. customerservice@lonewolfblues.com
Understanding a bit of blow back here...however, please don't feel you have to justify by statements similar to "he wasn't coerced" "he wasn't bribed" etc. No one even suggested these tactics at all. What I saw was a healthy debate/dialog regarding generic artist endorsements and some of the reality behind them and I didn't see within this discussion any diminishing of this pedal's usefulness or effectiveness. ---------- The Iceman
The words "bribed and tricked" were used jokingly after mentions of Bon Jovi hiding amps under the stage and also as a response to our artists or "generic artists" selling their musical integrity for free gear. 1847 got the joke. A healthy debate/dialog about endorsements would of been taken better by me on a separate thread naturally. It's a tad frustrating when trying to draw attention to a pedal, what it does and who uses it and then consistently have the conversation drawn off topic (unintentionally of course) by "recording techniques" and "Endorsements semantics/morality" questions. Either way though, all my threads receive better internet rankings, more attention and greater web positioning as a result of such chatter... so Yeah You Right and chime on! ---------- www.mooncat.org

Congrats and thank you Peter your going to LOVE the pedal, it's simple, totally natural, easy to understand and use! 1847 I imagine Yes! Because I think the terminator is meant to be placed last behind ANY effect since it's a splitter....But I'm not entirely sure maybe Nathan Heck can clear that up? ---------- www.mooncat.org
Here is a quick review of the new Lone Wolf Clean Cat pedal. To my knowledge, this is the second pedal that Jason has been involved in. I wanted to briefly show the effect it has on tone with no other effects (ok, a little delay or the chromatic!)
It seems to me that you can use it either as a boost pedal, while soloing perhaps, to give you that little extra punch and sparkle so the guitarist doesn't squash you ;-) Or you can have it on all the time if you fundamentally like what it does to your sound. I think I may use it for both purposes, depending on mic, amp, room size, combo etc. Either way, am well impressed so far and am very much looking forward to using it in future.
For transparency reasons, I AM a proud Seydel endorser but am not a Lone Wolf endorser, though I do have several of their pedals that I purchased through the usual channels.

I am most definitely a "traditional" harp player but still love the new pedal the guys at Lone Wolf and Jason have come up with! :-)
