I just got an email from Jason's manager, Mary.
Turns out that Intrepid, his booking agency, has him in Europe from May 19 through May 24.
So we can't do the Hill Country Harmonica thing on May 22-23.
Mary has offered me five other dates. I can't do the first two weekends in early May. So we've got three choices:
May 29-30
June 12-13
June 19-20
All three weekends work for me.
Please let me know. Sorry to do this all over again.

Good point, Jon. Given that we've had 40 people say they can make it that weekend, that makes sense. I have just emailed Jason's manager and asked her to contact Intrepid re: Memorial Day weekend. Fingers crossed.
Hold your fire, everybody! Let's see if we can get Memorial Day weekend to work.
My apologies, obviously, to all of you who were hoping for the earlier weekend. I would have preferred it myself. But disappointments are part of the blues life. Hanging in there and continuing to have fun, even when the disappoints come knocking, is also part of the blues life. Welcome to the blues life.

I think, it should be the 1st weekend you mentioned and that you should come to Europe with Jason and have the weekend in. . . . . erm. . . . London. That way it'd still be the same weekend and it wont affect Jason's touring. . . ... . . I'm a genius. Great Idea eh?
