Did Stevie say he loved Jimmy Reed in this video, it sure sounded like it? It would make perfect sense because he plays that fantastic, high end, first postion stuff in this song and Jimmy Reed was great at playing that first position blues style on the high end. I always wondered where Stevie got it from and I figured he must have picked it up from listening to some of the older blues players, and then figured out a way to use it in his own style. It was something I'd been wondering about for awhile, and I'd actually thought to myself if I ever had a conversation with Stevie that's one of the things I would have asked him about. Then coincidently I just stumbled upon this video, I just thought it was interesting.
