Hi folks, I found this link a few weeks ago while bored at work - Levee is one of the rock harp songs that really caught my young ears and amazed my dad. He was a country musician who had played back when radio was live and he had never heard a harmonica sound like that.

The link is to a scholarly analysis of the song and mainly looked at the recording and production techniques, and HOW the song was recorded to both tell a story and immerse the listener emotionally.

It's a bit scholarly and dry, but it really made me think of how Percy's harping, while not of the highest skill level, really added to the song's feel.

I mainly wanted to share in case anyone else found it interesting...

Have a great day, y'all!

Have you heard about the drummer who tried to commit suicide?

He threw himself behind a train.
