Hi all,
Adam's vid 'crossroads' features him singing, harping, and kicking/stomping...I am eager to know the percussion instruments and brands he is using...additionally he is right-foot-stomping on a box of somesort that appears to be electronic...does anyone know what this is?

Ok...answered my own question with more research...the rig adam is using appears to be Kick drum and pedal by Farmers Footdrums...pretty cool stuff !

Yep, you got it! Search through the archives here for "foot percussion", "stomp box", "foot drum", etc. Back when Adam was first coming out with his solo sound, several of us started messing around with this idea. I recall suitcase drums, electric stompers, and my own little rig made out of a tambourine. Now I use a cajon I built with a foot pedal.

I've only seen Adam live once. It was a great show but I made the mistake of sitting right by the stage with the foot drum right in my ear!
There is a female one woman band act (Molly Gene) that uses a bigger farmer set. If I didn't live in an apartment and had the money I'll love to have the big foot drum kit.
There are some really good setups around the one man band concept. Check out Juzzie Smith, and check out Suitcase Junket for some other ideas.
