Hi folks,

Anyone out there have experience with these rather interesting looking AMT harp mics? They are unlike anything I've seen. Condensor mics with belt clip-preamp. Looks like it would work very well with a harp rack. They used to have more models available (HR2, HR3) but it seems they are only selling their latest model, the HR4.

I believe I many have seen a video of Jimi Lee playing through on of these? Could be mistaken.

The only time I’ve seen someone use it was by Grégoire Maret when he toured with pat methany. He used it on a rack. Seems like a one trick pony... I would just get a high quality general condenser ( like an ear trumpet for example). At least you could employ hand effect if you do desired.
