A link would be nice instead of instructions for an expedition... You'll get more people to participate.
I would say you can move around pretty well on the harp...now just get some actual structure...
There's no way anyone would take the time to try and copy that. ---------- Danny

sounds like mostly noodling around - no tempo, no groove, showing that you can play OB for the sake of playing them....my advice - set up a metronome for adagio and try to play an outline of a 12 bar blues to the point where the listener can hear that it is a 12 bar blues....don't worry about OB until you play the basic forms/grooves better.
It's hard to learn what you've played in order to play it back as it has no logic to it. ---------- The Iceman

Hey, sharpharp, I'm having trouble picking up on the melody as well, maybe because it's not familiar to me. I also hear you slipping in and out of some bluesy stuff, doing what sounds like a major scale in 2nd position as well as a descending chromatic run to end things.
You can move around the harmonica pretty comfortably, no doubt about that. However, areas I'd focus on would be intonation on the 3 hole inhale and all the associated bends. It's an easy thing to pick on, but nailing that down would significantly improve the overall sound of that piece.
Work on the transitions into your overblows... not sure what key harmonica you were using, but it was one of the higher ones, so that adds a little level of difficulty.
I can also hear you making use of some different scales. I've found the best stuff I've done focuses on using a particular scale or maybe playing between minor/major. It just helps with flow. In any case, it at least gives a jumping off point to groove on.
I always like when other people post little snippets; I've started to do this too just to contribute a little content without taking too much time from our readers/listeners.
This one was from 2014 - I've improved a bunch since then: A Flat Woodshed
This is from 2019 and has a bit more of a distinct form. To Iceman's point, notice the use of timing to guide the listener: Happy Friday
Didn't meant to hijack your thread, but wanted to provide some meaningful feedback. Post more, please!

I love that response, thanks,I'm using a cheap old marine band in d,and I agree my playing was a little sloppy, but I'm gonna add more bluesy stuff to SoundCloud so it's easy to pick up and see what you guys think,do you have anything on YouTube??
