This afternoon I decided to see if the reed plates from Kongsheng "Solist" would fit in a Suzuki "Manji" harmonica and they fit and they sound even better than the Manji reed plates do! Rocking Rons Music https://rockinronsmusicsd.com/kongsheng-reed-plates.html

They are only $27 on Rons website, a bit cheaper than the Manji plates and they sound better to me :) ( Just my humble opinion, I am sure there are those that will prefer the Manji as it is but hey!)

Just checked and the Manji reed plate screws will work on the Kongsheng Solist reed plates, everything is interchangeable:)
