well i got the mic today thank God. it does work. the connector is a 5/8th screw on. sounds very strong. on off switch doesnt work though. also i dont think crystal elements are as fragile as people make em seem, cause he didnt even package it in a box. it was like in some xmas paper. an it didnt break lucky for me. $30 for a $250 mic aint a bad deal. im happy. i didnt even expect it to work but it sounds great. very clean looking mic too. no scratches label looks good etc. the grill is a little dirty lookin, an the switch is broke. other then that its extremely nice condition.
first with just delay then with other effects.

Heh, tell me if I'm wrong but did you pick up 3 new mics in the last 2 months?

This new one looks like your lightest mic. Is it?

"dont you think you owe this guy a small apology?"
no. communication was still bad. an shipping took a bit longer then it should have. ill be nice an i wont give him a bad rating on ebay. theres stars to rate how good communication was etc... ill be nice sense im happy with the mic. but that dosnt change anything. for all he knew the mic could have been a dud. i did tell him that a received it and i said thanks. but im not sorry for anything.

LOL thanks yes its the little walter mic.
ya i love the sound so much. i think i found the holy grail of mics for me. im just scared it might die cause of the whole crystal element thing people talk about. but it survived this long. who knows where its been.

"who knows where its been."

I feel uncomfortable talking about stick mics that way.

"Wait until the last few seconds of an auction then SNAG!"

exactly. i hate when people start bidding like days before making the price go up. no kids but i do have bills. i just end up paying them really late all the time. an i do have the worst credit in america. i still owe money to this tool company when i was a mechanic. that was years ago. im never gonna pay him. lol

What are you playing through? It seems a little deceiving, because I have found these mics a little thin sounding.I was buying mics on Ebay 6 or 7 years ago before people got wise, when I retire, all my blackies, old working crystals,NOS bullets will be like stocks.Jon I have a 777 w/ceramic element, that was a good get. They are easy to hold.
