Having had no expectations regarding performance levels in televised competitions, I have no criticisms. Her twirling with flying hair adds a visual interest to her harmonica rendition of this synthesized song/meme.

The original is pretty visually interesting, too, in a different way...

Why?

Why not???

Gary, you are a troublemaker!

Nice find--
Doug, you are such a nice guy, so glad to call you my friend.
Anybody else have an opinion?
And I'm sure I mean no harm . . . I think . . .

If you notice at the end it has her name & "violinist". I was noticing her timing was good so that confirmed she is a musician. Very cool, WAY better than when you meet someone and they learn you play harp hearing "my grandpa played harmonica" or "I love Bob Dylan on harmonica" or, "have you heard John Popper" (no less love for JP, he's just more out there in the mainstream) so, now I can say "no, but have you heard Patricia Marcoux!

This is much harder than playing the harmonica.
But I'm not finding fault with anyone . . .

Nothing wrong with that. Not my thing, but she plays well and its entertaining. It wouldn't be a bad thing if that kind of harmonica playing caught on in pop music.

I see that she posted a link to this video on the Facebook page, so if she reads this, keep up the good work, you can convince more people to play harmonica!

well, it's nicely played. but it is dance music, which i find monotonous ,even if is rendered expertly on a diatonic player. but she sounds good enough for me to seek other harmonica playing videos of her.

Here she is playing a shuffle in G, and it shows high competence, the sort of competence one might show if the harmonica were a second or third instrument. She is shrill and sometimes sharp at the end or beginning of her phrases and transitions, but her mechanics are very good. She is a mighty fine fiddler, though, touch craft, tone, touch, and versatility. It has a first-nature verve the harmonica work lacks. But what do I know?

Hmm, what do you know?
You know harmonica.
What do I know?
I know better than to criticize your videos.

Reading this thread is like seeing the ripples in a pond after a large rock has been thrown in. What was the rock and did anyone get booted?

Not much trauma, barely any drama.

Funny thing about harmonicas, there seems to be near infinite possibilities of sound potential. With the exception of drunks at blue jams, I can't think of any I really dislike.

Then you just haven’t been to my YouTube Channel yet—lots to criticize there.
