Jon,IMHO,unless you're going to play with a band,the HG50 is overkill. Yes,it's the biggest and baddest,but if you're going to play at home,then one of the smaller Harp Gears will serve you just fine. Save your money for MORE mics. Ha Ha

I just lost an auction for a Tombo S-50. I should have bid more. There were only 8 bids and it went for a dollar more than what my high bid was the night before.

Hi Bro's yeh getting outbid by 1 2 3 10 bucks is a real pisser when the winning bid is very low,,what i do ok theres only 5 bids there will be more waiting to bid at the last moment where called Snipers,,so what i do is bid big in the last seconds of the auction,,ok watch the bids see how much the bids are riseing by say the mic was 20 dollars the bids rise 25 30 35 40 dollars,,the bidders are trying to get it as cheap as possible not willing to spend to much the bids up to $70,,i think ok Im'willing to buy that mic for $160 Bang in the last seconds i bid my $160 i get the mic sometimes for $86 $90 $120 or get outbid good luck to the winning bidder i say the same model mic will come along very shortly..

Nasty, it's not that easy, since you can put in an amount that you are willing to go up to automatically. As long as it's still under that you can automatically match any raises.

Yeh Bro if i do make a bid for a mic starting bid $20 and i realy wanted it i would max my Bid out to $160 as you say any bids between that amount i automaticly out bid them up to my max,,not good i don't want to win it for the price im willing to pay i want to win it for the price some one else is trying to win it for they may only want to bid $80,,if i start a bid every one gets edgey and starts raising the bid so i never start bids anymore,,Just Hang around for days waiting Bang One shot i win or i lose,,thats my technic it works for me,,telling the truth i snipe with big guns sometimes i shoot $160 if i realy want it i will Shoot $200 calibre Bang it's mine never been outbid yet shooting $200 Calibre,,Jons got it Happenning i bet he won't spend all that $220 possibly get change for a vid game..Good Onya Bro's

It's not so much a playing harp as a historic novelty harp. It's a white bakelite Magnus Harmonica. Pat Missin has a bit on them. The average diatonic harmonica has 20 reeds, 20 rivets, 2 covers, 2 reed plates, a comb, and something to hold the the covers on (screws or nails or whatever). The Magnus has 5 parts! War time metal shortages? Not a problem when you make it all out of plastic! Lol. The seller's name is Ed Sparrow! Any relation?
