Hi Bro's i just sussed the Harp Gear Blurb on Coast2Coast i have a worked Fender Blues Junior with Mercury Transformers But thinking of selling it to finance a HarpGear,,it's got me thinking as soon as i saw it Had Mercury Transformers quality compoments and a Solid wood cab i don't think i need to look any further whats your slant,,,,,Sonny Crunchers for me would be massive overkill,,so i think the Harpgear is the amp For me i mostly use for jamming with my Bro at Home and Partys,,and only ever get to play strait harp Via vocal mic via House PA on jam nights i could take it with being heard over the band isn't a issue Harmonica Guitar Duo,,Do i sell the Fender BJ

If you need the money to help finance a HarpGear amp by all means sell the Fender.

Yep, the HarpGear HG2 is the perfect small harp amp. Every player should own one, seriously. Small, with that killer Champ-ish tone, a great line out, very well built. I highly recommend it.

I agree 100% with Rick. The HarpGear HG2 is a great amp.

Although if you have been gigging with a Blues Junior you'll probably prefer the HarpGear Double Trouble. It's 18 Watts 2X8" speakers with a line out built in as well.

No question - that is exactly what I did too!! Fender Blues Jr went towards a Double Trouble. I was trying to cover both bases - small amp for practice and enough 'poop' for jam venues - so far, working better than I had hoped for. HG2 miced for bigger venues is how two others I know handle it - and with great success; one of them is a pro performer with his own small band. ANd Brian is a great guy to deal with and get advice from!!

if you can swing it, get the Double Trouble. It's a great amp. I've owned one for a while. It's the only amp I own that I wouldn't consider selling.

The cabinet on the Double Trouble is the same width and depth as the HG2. It's about a 10 or 12 inches taller. They are close to the same output, but the DT has a TON more usable volume. It weighs about 25 pounds.

Huge sound in a small package.
