It seems that Jason ricci is coming to europe between may and July. He's playing a few blues festivals. I can get a minibus quite cheap and was wondering if anyone fancies a road trip over to Europe for a spring weekend of blues and J and his band.bring some harps, some music, duty free beer. Nuff said. If there's a few people that show interest then i'll look into it further and come up with some prices. Who's up for it!!

I'm a man on a limited budget but I could probably spring for a no-strings road-trip from late may onwards. I hereby confirm interest.

Hey Luke...I won't be able to go to Europe but I'm going to try and get up to the Coach and horses on wednesday night this week if your up for it. Sorry about the short notice but just got the ok from my Obergruppenfurher indoors tonight.

@oisin. Cant make it tonight. Gotta go to dinner with the inlaws and cant get out of it!!! Father inlaws birthday dinner. BOOOOOOO.
Festival wise, I've been looking at geldrop Blues festival.Have a look at the website and let me know what you think. Looks like it'll cost about £120 to £140 for ferries, van, diesel, entrance fee and accomodation if there is 5 of us going. These are just rough figures and if it's a definate go then I'll get a final figure. Either post here or e-mail me (as I dont really want ot hijack Adams site) at lukejones33athotmaildotcom

Well I'm currently back on the dole again, so I can't afford it at the moment. If things pick up though I'd definitely be interested in that road trip.

I really can't make the coach this week or next infact. But my diary is free from then on. I've just emailed a friend in holland to see if he can find cheap accomodation. The minibus is a bit more expensive than I thought. It's £50 a day + £10 for European insurance cover. I'm on a tight budget and will see how cheap I can get it

Cheers leonid. I'll see what kind of figures I can come up with and how many are definately going and we'll take it from there. I'll meet up with you and Oisin at the coach nearer the end of the month. It seems like Jason will be in Europe from may until the beginning of July. There is still quite a few dates that Jason isn't playing. I imagine his agents are looking at getting him some more gigs so he may play somewhere a bit closer. I'll keep my eyes peeled.
