You never know! About a month ago I received a spotless Model 1 Kalamazoo from Greg at Blows Me Away Productions. I could not wait to play. Went to jam at Kelly's Bar in Hamtramck, Michigan the next night on a Wednesday. Set up my amp, plugged into the PA and blew my face off. The Kalamazoo was amazing. In the door walks Martha Reeves (Vandellas) and her brother Bennie. Bennie is quite the blues singer and I had the privilege of playing harp with him for a set. Needless to say it was a great night.

I also have a Magnatone M8 and matching external speaker box (RS1), a Magnatone Centaur, a Fender Blues Deville 4X10 with blue alnico speakers, an old Heathkit PA that has a great sound, and a G40 Pig Nose.

I play through a Electro Voice 638 mic.

I paid my dues at the Attic Bar in Hamtramck with the likes of Little Mac Collins, Mr. Bo, Uncle Jessie White, Harmonica Shaw, The Butler Twins, Willie D. Warren, Piano Fats, Motor City Josh. Many of these folks are gone now but they are still with me. I love the blues family.

Greg from Blows Me Away told me to post this when he herd the story.

Where are you from eharp. I live in Wyandotte. Played for six years with the Glen Eddy Band. We recorded a live CD at Memphis Smoke in Royal Oak. One more year to work then I look forward to playing more. Right now just catching jam sessions. I go way back with a lot of these guys so I have no problem getting to the stage.

Thanks for the response.
