I'm looking for a recording of a track by Big Walter Horton. It's called "If I Get Lucky".

Walter sings and plays some incredible harp on this number. It's an eight bar blues and is very similar to "It Hurts Me Too"

The only version I can currently find is on the Blind Pig 20th Anniversary CD. But I'd like to get the original album (in CD or MP3 format) that it comes from.

Does anyone know where I can find it?

NB: Please note it's not the same song title that Johnny Shines sings on. That is a completely different tune altogether.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Kingley,
I don't know where to find that particular song, but on Ricky Bushs website "Back In The Day" he refers to Bob Corritores website,,,, where he has a link to a half dozen free Big Walter downloads that I've never heard before. Try this: http://www.jeffersonbluesmag.com/sv/artiklar/531-horton-big-walter-120

I have both of Big Walters Blind Pig albums and it is not on either of them. My guess is that it was never released and was issued as a bonus cut on the Blind Pig 20th Anniversary CD.

Tom ball has compiled an extensive discography of Big Walter songs, and the version you are looking for isn't there so it must be very rare or may have only been found/released recently.
