Was listening to Pacififc Gas & Electric's version of Staggolee and couldn't get over that funky harp riff in the background, was wondering if anyboduy could help me out on how to do it.

It sounds like it's in the key of A. Try with your D harp starting with a 3 draw, bend it, go to a 2 draw and work it from there. its a nice version of the song.

Great band! First heard of them on the soundtrack to a 2007 quentin tarantino film, where this song was on it and I love that riff.

It's primarily a 2 draw, then 2 draw bent down a half step on the upbeat of the 3rd beat, back to the 2 draw on the downbeat, quick 2 blow on the 4th beat, then repeat. He lets a little of the 3 draw leak though sometimes. The rest is an effect pedal.
