I think Swamp Blues is sometimes left out of the conversation. Credence Clearwater made it a base for a lot of their sound. Here' my hommage to Slim Harpo.
Sweet diggs! Hadn't seen that one before is that new? I was trying to teach myself scratch my back a little while back on Bb but it sounded nowhere near as good :) .

Swamp blues and basically the entire Excello label sound is too often not mentioned in the mix and another player from that label not often mentioned is Lazy Laster. ---------- Sincerely, Barbeque Bob Maglinte Boston, MA http://www.barbequebob.com CD available at http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/bbmaglinte
If you've ever been thru Crowley, LA, you'd wonder how it was ever any sort of a hotspot, much less the 'home' of this type of blues. Surrounded by rice and cane fields, just outside Lafayette. I'm playing some Lazy Lester and Slim Harpo in my new band. I like Slim's Tee-ni-nee-ni-nu, mainly because I have no idea what it means... ---------- Todd L. Greene, V.P.
