I may be headed to Penang Malaysia for a couple of yrs for work. Leaving the Austin, Tx area.
Someone please tell me there is a blues scene of sorts there.
I'm close to having the guts to go to a jam session. Great timing.
I am looking forward to experiencing the culture with my wife and daughter. This is very cool.

Last time I was there I saw a pretty good local group playing Santana's music. I guess blues is not far away, and Penang nights are rather lively.
I am sure you'll enjoy Penang and Malaysia, great place.
