Whammer Jammer was used as a dance track for a figure skater. The skater also used a blues song that featured harmonica.......
Maybe we have a harmonica playing Olympian on our hands.

Yes, I had an email several months ago from the skater, thanking me for that 5-part series on YouTube featuring "Whammer Jammer" and asking me if I thought that it would be heresy if he chopped off most of the opening section and used the mutilated version in his Olympic short program.
If you believe that, I've got some swampland in the Delta that you might be interested in.

I tell ya...if anyone could really skate to that tune they deserve all the gold their neck could hold! Room to move would make an appropriate skating tune, wouldn't it?
But it was so cool to have OUR music at the soulympics.
