any one have any dreams related to music? most of my dreams are really messed up. but last night i had this dream that i was at some weird flee market an there was this one section that had all these vintage amps really cheap. only thing is these amps didnt exist in the real world. they were all crazy lookin no name brands. so i was lookin through all the amps an the guy was plugin them in to show they worked. one didnt have a speaker but it still turned on an made sound. (my dreams are weird) i purchased one amp off him for $35 from the 1950's. it kinda looked like those little juke box's that sit on tables. then i asked him if he had a bassman, an he said ya an pulled out this weird lookin amp shaped like a guitar. an i told him no thats the wrong model. then the dream escalated into me shooting up morphine an i woke up.

I dream of harp riffs all the time, especially after a gig.

They are getting those bendable TV screens now. They are still too expensive, but imagine a concert speaker with a screen mounted to the front of it, either doing psychedelic stuff or pictures of the band.
Then you put a back facing monitor in the back of it. Make it the hub of a wireless speaker/mic/instrument setup. You could even have a rechargeable battery station built into it.
Then, put a wireless signal on it so you can send images and sound to it, and beam out a clean copy of the signal over wi-fi so the audience can get a good recording to take home with their cellphone. (You could even stream the picture from the speakers to them too.) Let them post video online. It's free publicity. Make the concert as valuable as possible so you can charge a little more for the tickets and give the music away. The same signal could take them to your band website. Sell T-Shirts and memorabilia dated for that concert online, but only with a code from the ticket. They can buy undated stuff without a ticket.
It's a dream I have.
And then it gets weird. They have that directional sound now. It's like a laser for sound. The signal barely spreads. You could use it to mess with the audience. Tell the left side of the audience to yell on the count of three. Tell the right side the left side the right side is laughing at them.

Wow--you just got shot up and then woke up? Crap! That's like I was in there getting into bed with Amanda Tapping and I had her all undressed and I was on top and just ready to do the deed and she was begging me to do it when my half-wit neighbor starts to practice on his electric piano and wakes me up.
I mostly just wake up with a tune in my head--don't remember the dream--it can take a while to get rid of the tune--and sometimes it's really horrible--like a Barry Manilow tune!

MANY, MANY years ago, I dreamt I was at a Jefferson Airplane concert. When they played "Today" the drums started very soft and gradually built up in loudness until it almost drown out the rest of the band. It was overwhelmingly beautiful.
Strange. I wasn't a big fan of Airplane and never really paid much notice to "Today."
I've also had what I jokingly refer to as a nightmare: I walked into a large dance club and The Doors were playing (My favorite band). The music was prerecorded, Jim was standing on a high platform and the other three were below him dancing like that doo-wap or motown kind of stuff. :(

Sometimes I dream I'm on stage and I don't remember a single lick ... I don't even know how to play that thing at all. Maybe I should go to see a psychiatrist ...

I dream about music in about a third of my dreams. Another good portion of my dreams are related to the trappings and surroundings of music. I also dream about the musicians I look up to.
Two nights ago I was dreaming I was replacing a reed on one of my harps. So, when I had some time that day, I did it!

Can't say I've had music dreams per say, but i often go to sleep with a tune in my head and wake up with the same tune playing.
This can go on for weeks.
The current edition is Sunshine Superman by Donovan.
Hey, at least the music my head is playing is cool.

I'm told I tap conga patterns with my hands and fingers on the headboard. It usually goes like this:
Pam: "HEY" Ron: " huh.." Pam: "you're tapping" Ron: 'what...uh..." plays a bongo pattern in sleep... Pam: "HEY" "RON..."
Ron: "right, what time is it? I'll take them out in a few minutes..."
Pam: "oh brother."
