is there a way to keep the selling stuff post from a few days ago on the posting page as a regular topic all the time so that people could check it instead of having to go back to another page
im new here so im not sure what your policy is for that but i think it would be convenient

alleycatjoe... Whenever you visit the selling thread, just give it a "bump" and it will stay on the first page.

I did think about that too a few days ago! We should be able to lock certain threads to the main page.

Without expensive re-coding, you can't keep any one thread at the top. If it's important to you, e-mail Adam and ask him if there can be a link to the thread in the navigation pane on the left. :-)

I kind of like it the way it is, because when ever it pops back up you know something has been added. If it were always locked at the top, you would constantly have to check it just to see if anything new has been added.
Although, people who are new to the board may not realise the buy/sell thread exists. I think that having a link on the side is a good idea, that way if you have something to sell you wouldn't have to go searching through multiple pages just to find the correct thread.

A link to it could be put in the Forum Archive (I thought it was already there, but I can't seem to find it anymore) or on the How To page. That's as permanent and as easy access as it's likely to get at this board! ;)

Hi Bro's I seem to have started a intresting topic some for some against,,Life is not all about being on the same page thats why i tore out a leaf and driffed away it was Blantent self promotion for myself and my Wonderful Blues Harp Microphone the Sk9 Little Honker check us out on the Right Page with vidio Demo's,,it was allso 2-fold a sort of silent protest to get MBH Members talking about how we can better access the For Sales section or have a link as Isaac suggests where it can be found easly,,we seem to Forget that the outside world allso looks in on MBH Forum many Non members who will only look at the first page maybe page 2 3 they may be looking for a Microphone Amp or Custom Harps,,there no going to search every page looking but if it was on the side menu who knows we may sell our items a lot better giveing more coverage to the outside world,,i added 2 Voice of music Mics on the page but it took me some 30 minutes to locate the page searching page after page,,we just need better access to the Page and not only sell Mics Amps Harmonicas what about the Bro's who have Albums they want to sell there Cd's or DVD's,,like my Little Honker it could be there Bread and Butter not earning millions just a few extra bills every year..it can only Help those of us wanting to Help You get the right deal every time not spend big money From a department stor or Ruthless Muso Shop..Thanks for your time Bro's
