I thought that was good man, im very self concious when it comes to singing and only usually do it when im in the house by myself, even then i do it quietly. But that was good, the harp was rockin aswell:) ----------
Don't forget to support your voice and give the words their full values. I know it sounds more familiar when you do a half-talking style, but you short change the feel of the lyrics (you just don't pay attention to the quality and pitch of the your voice). You might want to play the vocal part on harp and then match the notes with your voice. Blues singing is about hitting those flatted thirds and fifths with a crying precision. Matching your bluesy playing with your voice will help you sing those values better.
Don't feel embarrassed about singing, ever. Of course, most of us have limitations, but you get to have more fun as a front man until the better singer comes along.
J - Keep at it ! for the first time -> it sounds pretty darn good. The more you sing...the easier it will become and the better you will become. KingoBad's advice is right on the money. ---------- Music is your own experience, your own thoughts, your wisdom. If you don't live it, it won't come out of your horn. They teach you there's a boundary line to music. But, man, there's no boundary line to art. - Charlie Parker
Cheers guys! I'll try and learn the vocal line on the harp... More practice, updated version in the next month or so :) ---------- "Blow as thou pleaseth"
