Found this gentleman on YouTube. He goes under the name of Bajan Piedpiper. He has a number of tutorials for various instruments including harp. You need to reed the comments and information parts of his videos which are full of useful info.
In the following video he discusses how to make your own backing tracks using a midi player which you can download.
It's called "Sweet Midi Player". For those of us that fiddle, this could be interesting. I haven't tried it yet but here is what it is supposed to be able to do.
"Use it for modifying the MIDI files themselves. Edit by Brothersoft: Sweet MIDI Player is a program for not only auditioning all types of MIDI files, but for modifying the MIDI files themselves.
Use its mixer-like interface to easily edit the control messages, transpose the music, change the tempo, mute desired MIDI channels, and save the end results to disk.
Display the lyrics available in MIDI Karaoke files.
Change the arrangement with easy to use Cut, Copy and Paste commands."
