This is the only the second time we have ever played this song so I am still working on it.

Hey Steve...nice going man. Are you using the Pignose in these vids? I've just ordered one for my birthday and hope it sounds as good as that.

Great tone! The level mix was much better than the last set you put up, although the vocals still got lost a little under the harp.

Yes, I am using a "Pignose" 7-100 amp in these videos and for the first time I am using occasionally a "ModTone" Clean Boost pedal set very low, only a few extra decibels for leads. I am in LOVE with those "pignose" 7-100 amps.

We are playing (2) large venues on April 1st and third, and they always mic the little piggies thru the PA for the audience and a bit in the monitors. It sounds huge man. Folks are blown away all that tone is coming from those little amps.

I am loading (2) more videos tonite and one is a new song,"Pretty Little Thing". I think you guys and gals will like it. He threw it on me right after we did a sound check. I was shooting from the hip.

Steve,

Please don't think I'm trying to be funny, or long-distance rude, as is often the case with the Web.

You know how you sometimes post vids for comment - I presume for comment, anyway. Well, it would be really good if you were to sometimes chip in on some of our vids as well. We can all do with a bit of gee-ing up or constructive feedback at times.

I think I read that you used to teach harp, so it would be good see what you bring to the table.

Regards,

Mick

Point well taken my friend. I REALLY post these for just your viewing (pleasure) I hope, but yes, I get good compliments and things pointed out I need to improve in. I have noticed lately some pretty alarmingly nasty flame wars between some members here and I do not want to take a chance on crossing someone the wrong way. There are a couple of members here that are , well, a@# holes and I deal with that kind enuff at work.

I think I shall pass on being a critic. Just look at my videos, it is something I love to do, and in the end I am going to keep doing them the way I feel like they should be done.

Steve- I think the people who ask for critique are pretty good about taking it. I enjoy your videos. You've got great tone.

Steve,

I hear you. Still, what nacoran said is true. I don't think that the critiques on here ever degenerate into unpleasantness, though, some of the other threads do.

Keep an eye open for our _____ day at MBH, where we spontaineously upload videos on a particular theme. So far, we've had Slow Blues day and Fast Blues day. I think funk day is going to be next.
