Kingley, but I had to figure that out, plus it navigated away from this page, which meant my poor little internet connection just about had a heart attack. (Actually, it's probably my processor. I'm running my virus check in the background.)
Anyway, it's all about advertising. Advertisers put a picture on the front of the box to make you look at it. Plus Oxharp's got a ton of videos up, so clicking through to his channel is visually overwhelming.
I've noticed you'll get 3-4 times as many comments on a video that you embed compared to one you link to, which is actually pretty useful information for bands that want to market themselves.
Thanks guys, I never thought that my site was overwhelming visually.
Just look at the upload date.
I did not post them here as I think about the web space that Adam has to manage in the background but if its no problem I will embed all the others in future but I need the forums ok to do that.
I think its only right and proper to ask permission rather than just rail road a thread for my own YT site.
Anyway its all about the Harp for me and I hope I am giving something back to the Harp community.

I'm not an expert, but aside from the little snippet of code I don't think embedding a video takes any extra bandwidth from Adam's site. The video is still being hosted at the original source.
If someone knows more about it, feel free to correct me.
As for etiquette, people posting their music is one of my favorite things about the site.
Lets scan and see what a few of these Brit women in the pub look like next time. We can spare all the baldies on stage after a while.(Kidding...kind of) Music sounds good though.
Oxharp, that's mighty, mighty courteous of you. I think you'd be well within your rights to embed a few videos and link to the rest. As far as I can tell, it's one of the reasons this forum exists... so that you can get your videos out there, and I can find 'em. -------------------- Murray. The smartist formerly known as Elwood.
