Will Greener, aka Captain Bliss

As part of The Festival of Blues, the Harp Surgery's new friend Will Greener (aka Captain Bliss) is hosting a free blues harp workshop in The Blues Kitchen, Camden.

When? Saturday 27th Feb, 3pm - 4:30pm
Where? Camden Blues Kitchen, 111 Camden High Street, Camden, London, NW1 7JN, UK

All levels welcome. Bring a diatonic harmonica in C.

Very much in the spirit of sharing and caring that characterises London Harmonicas, his focus will be on:

(1) Demystifying some of the sounds blues players get out of the harmonica,
(2) Passing on some tips and tricks picked up from some of the world's best teachers. (Filisko, Gussow, Grueling, Raines, Dermody et al.)
(3) Getting everyone to make the most of what they've got to make music together.

In my experience, weatherworn Will has a splendid grasp of acoustic, down-home blues harmonica of all varieties. And as you can see, he's completely crackers.

Also to Sussex users: check out the BEGINNER'S workshop happening in Brighton this Saturday.

Thanks, Tooka. By the way, were you at London Harps last week? Like I was saying, there was a distinguished-looking fella who I thought might have been you, but I was too shy to ask.

@Everyone else in London... Let us know if you'll be there so we can all look out for one another
