They must still be working on the Bb's as that is what I ordered and I haven't received it yet. The email awhile back said that some of the Bb's wouldn't come out until March if I remember correctly. I am patient... All good.

@snakes. I was just hoping that they'd filled the Bb orders or perhaps there might be some overlap with keys. The email I got implied that all orders placed before December would be shipped by the end of March. I'm patient too, just anticipating :)

I wonder when the new Harrison Harmonicas website is going to launch. I thought it was suppose to be soon. It'll be interesting to see how it changes now that he's changed from being a customiser to a full on manufacturer.

Yes, it seems kinda strange that their website doesn't have any new info or pics on the B-Rad when it's now out in the market. I guess they will in time.
I saw a post earlier on the reed locator tabs that hold the replaceable reeds in line. Any of you owners have any info on them, or close up pics?

@OzarkRich.
Yeah, I ordered in June and went the other day to read one of the emails I got and it said that they would be mailing out the Bb's through March. I am sure they are worth the wait. I just hope my mailman takes a day off from caffeine as I received a coffee mug intially from Harrison harmonicas and it was very well wrapped in plastic bubble wrap and styrofoam peanuts and the dang this was in three pieces. Broke my heart as it was a cool mug.

Mr.Sparrow, you are the only one so far to review the harp,I will ask. Has the funny taste left since you got it,I am assuming it will just take some time. And since you asked,I like it!Hard to believe it will be a production model.I am a more traditional player, but maybe I'll try to learn OB's,not averse to that prospect. Can't wait for the other 4 keys I ordered.

I'm not sure,but on Brad's custom marine bands,I think he used some kind of gasket material.Maybe that is what it is. I can't really say for sure. Jon,you don't have paint specks around your nose&lips? ;-))
I think you might be right about the comb,I've been sniffing all around this thing.

Here's my quick thoughts after having the B-radical for 24 hours.
First your context: I would say that I'm an advanced beginner/intermediate player. I don't play overblows in a musical sense, but I can when things align, get an overblow to sound. I play blues, country, and irish tunes. I'm doing the Junior Year at HarmonicaAcademy if that means anything to you as a point of reference. Over the years, I've tried a few hohners, and seydels, mostly suzukis and bushmans. I've never owned a custom harp. (though I'm waiting patiently)
My first thoughts:
I like it. It's pretty. It's solid in the hand, about the same weight as a suzuki promaster. It is comfortable to play, responds well. Bending is easy. I can blow bend the high holes better than on my other harps. I can hold a sustained 6 overblow which sounds good. I can hold a sustained 5 overblow which sounds a tad squeaky, but not bad. I can only get the mac-truck squeal when trying to overblow the 4 hole.
It does smell a little like formaldehyde, but I have noticed this before with other products and it usually fades with time. There is no odd taste for me. I don't notice the smell when I'm playing it.
The comb is very comfortable for tongue blocking. (unlike the firebreath which was downright painful) I can feel the reed nuts with my tongue, but it isn't uncomfortable.
I'll be happy to try to answer your questions.

Have you tried removing a reed and replacing it? That's one of the biggest selling points of the B-Radical but no-one seems to have discussed it. It's supposed to be idiot proof, so any player can repair their own harps. Can you try and let us know how easy it is?
