This is not a harp song but it sure has inspired me to work one up:

It kicks the crap out of Bill Haley and the Comets' cover.

I think I want to busk it with a drum a la Gussow!

Yup, I'm a sucker for lascivious double entendres in lyrics!

Actually this is great for harp and the way to approach it is basically with a jump blues sax approach.

i've covered this one with both a full band and in the duo. with full band and experienced players i call it in D and use a C chromatic in 3rd. with the duo approach we do it in E and i use a D diatonic.

it is an absolute killer harp song.

Big Joe Turner was the man. There is some good footage of him on the Muddy Waters concert video called Gunsmoke Blues. Big Mama Thornton and George Smith, too.

Yeah guys, that's awesome. I totally heard the harp opportunities when I heard it and I just love that groove, the cymbals and snare, and the horn lines...I love the way Big Joe is kind of conducting the groove with his hand to what is probably the house band, keep it rollin', boys!

I'm already playing with it quite a bit!
