bazzzzou, doing what you mentioned may not improve much at all, if anything! For assured better tightness you will need to check that the comb is flat and square(not twisted, or bowed),you may need to Flat sand it, as well as flat sand the reed plates. As far as better response, gapping the reeds to fit your playing style my be in order. I highly recommend checking out YouTube on reed and comb mods! You will learn so much more watching someone doing the mods, compared to someone trying to describe them in text. ---------- The best harmonica one can own, is the one you love to spit on! -- Iggy
